Abous us

Renata society was founded in 1987 and now it is one of the moust important ecological organisation in Czech Republic and manage one of the biggist ecocentre – Ecocentre Renata which was founded in 1999. We have seat in Brno city (South Moravia region) but we work in other villages, towns and regions.

We have been partner in three big regional environmental projects – in South Moravia region it was „Síť environmentálního vzdělávání, výchovy a osvěty v JMK“(Net of ecological education and eco-counselling) and in East Bohemia region it was „KAPKA 21 – Královéhradecký a Pardubický kraj: Agenda 21 pro každého – Síť ekologických středisek“ (Net of ecological centers and Agenda 21) and Síť specializovaných ekoporaden (Net of profesional eco-counselling).

In these projects we are responsible for ecological education of children as well as adults. We work with volunteers in nature, runs two eco-counselling offices and had a lot of lectures and seminaries. We also prepared ecological exhibitions and festival, created educational trails in nature and much more.

We have managed a project of Environmental conservation at citizen community and ecological education (Svitavy distric) which is concerned in nature protection and educational trails for local schools, monitoring preparation and planing on new local highway, creating environmental plan for local village and town, running eco-counselling office in our ecocentre, cooperating on project Healthy town, managing ecological exhibitions, meetings and lectures, printing educational materials, etc.

Renata society runs the well-known ecological centre Renata near Jevicko which is the biggest ecocentre in Pardubice region (East Bohemia). We cooperate with Ecocentre Paleta in Pardubice and organize ecological education for schools and for the public in this region, specially in our Svitavy distric.
